Internal Medicine
Join a prominent Internal Medicine service that offers the rare opportunity to practice across the entire continuum: from primary care to continuity inpatient care, while preserving nights and most weekends free. Each physician in our 14 plus member group has their own primary patient panel for whom they provide clinic-based care. Approximately every 5-6 weeks, they rotate onto the inpatient service at Carondelet St. Mary’s hospital for one week where they exclusively provide general inpatient care as hospitalist to the El Rio group of adult patients. This unique opportunity also affords them the benefits of collegiality with Tucson’s specialists and positions of medical leadership within the community.

Family Practice
Join a vibrant Family Medicine group that is committed to excellence in patient care and service, delivered collaboratively in a team-based model. With sites throughout the Tucson area and on the Pascua Yaqui reservation, El Rio’s Family Medicine providers serve newborns through seniors by providing acute and chronic disease management and preventive care. Family Physicians may opt to participate in the adult inpatient rotation or to work solely in the outpatient setting without call. We provide well-women and gynecology care but not maternity services.

Pediatrics
Join 20 plus board certified/board eligible pediatricians who are dedicated to providing high-quality care for a patient-centered medical home. Care is provided to children from birth through childhood and adolescence. Our services include: sick child care, well-child visits, chronic disease management and in-hospital care.

Special Programs
Our Special Programs allow for demonstrated improved care within our NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Level III recognized facilities. These programs include our Asthma Program, Integrated Behavioral Health program, Clinical Pharmacy Program, Immunization Program, Reach Out and Read, Hepatitis C program, HIV care program, and our Hospital discharge coordinated care program.
